This was truly a recovery ride.  It reminded of the kind of rides that Steve Little used to do when he encouraged people to ride for endurance in order to recovery from their workouts.  Sometimes when I log on for a recovery ride and choose a low impact ride, the ride ends up being just as high intensity except in the saddle... this one was a true low impact ride.  My heart rate stayed in zone two without modification.  I miss rides like this.
