Hi.

Welcome to my streak.  One hundred days of straight Peloton.

Day Sixty-two: Jennifer Jacob's 60 min Endurance Ride 10.7.17

Day Sixty-two: Jennifer Jacob's 60 min Endurance Ride 10.7.17

This was my first time in the studio since I've bought the bike for home.  Hard to believe since I'm based out of NYC, but BECAUSE I'm in NYC, I'm too busy to ride most days except at 5am when NYC doesn't hold any spin classes.

So... while Peloton is not my favorite studio experience in NYC for spin... as a regular home rider, the studio experience was something special.

This was my 100th ride.  Everyone was SO nice.  I sat in the front.  JJ gave me TWO shout-outs and she shouted out my fb peloton tribe, the 5:15 tribe.  The day could not have gone better-- I PR-ed, I got a shout-out during a milestone.  But then... JJ was in the stretching area after the ride and I thanked her for the shout-outs and she comped me a smoothie at the little bar area.  WhAaaAt?

I ran into another rider who was sharing a milestone, #heavymedalqueen, her 200th ride.  I didn't know her before this, but we bonded over how we felt a little hum of excitement before the class started.  She also got a shout-out.  Even the smoothie bar folks congratulated us on our milestones... I must have been congratulated by about every worker there---the lovely person at retail, the check-in guys, the ladies at the smoothie bar... you folks know how to make a girl feel special.

This day was epic.  Thanks to all of the peloton team for being so nice, and for JJ for the shout-out.

I believe life is a story that you tell yourself and this chapter felt supported and exciting.
