Day Sixty-four: Matt Wilpers' 30 min Power Zone 10.9.17
This is week two with my new (significantly higher) power zone numbers. They felt a bit more manageable than they did last week. I'm not sure what that is about. I clearly didn't get that much fitter in a week. I'm imagining it probably has to do with how it took me a long time to recover from the FTP test so I wasn't able right away to embrace the new zone wattage numbers. Also, I'm sure I had to just mentally get my mind around these digits, which I'm not used to seeing on the screen... 200 for three minutes? Didn't I used to just hit 200 for a ten second interval a few months ago. Progress!
The music was strong and I enjoyed the lower cadences, higher resistances in this workout as I'm a bit more a climber than a speed girl.
