Day Twenty-three: Steven Little's 45 min Endurance 8.31.16
Ugh. A workout less than twelve hours since the last one. The interval in last night's class were pretty challenging. When I got on the bike less than 12 hours later, I knew right away my legs were shot. They felt sluggish, even after a warm-up. I held back and stayed at about 65% of my Heart Rate Max for most of the ride.
Steven Little was also struggling. He had a cold, was two classes in for the day. Besides telling us that he was struggling, I couldn't really tell that he was. It felt good that the instructor's struggle too. I certainly was sluggish the whole ride.
This was a ride that I did with my #515 tribe, a Facebook group that agrees to get on the bike at 5:15 AM EST time. They post the rides before hand. Knowing that I'll see them on my filtered leaderboard--filtered by riders that I know or have added--helps make sure I don't put off the ride until later. Thanks tribe!
