Hi.

Welcome to my streak.  One hundred days of straight Peloton.

Day Three: Nicole's 30 min Orchestral Ride 10.12.16

Day Three: Nicole's 30 min Orchestral Ride 10.12.16

Nicole was a Peloton instructor before I was a Pelo-addict, so this was my first class with her.  I know when I first signed on in May, people talked about how she was out due to injury?  Anyway, she seems to have ridden her pony into the great Peloton-horizon.  Wishing her the best.

Inspirational moment of this ride for me:  Nicole explained that this was a mixture of orchestra and jazz.  Teamwork and Collaboration.  She then invited us to bring the spirit of both into the ride.  Now, I'm not a musician.  And often as a rider I use the music to fuel my effort, but I never really think about the musicians and the effort that THEY are putting into the music (or were when it was recorded).  This 30 seconds of cognition during the warm-up inspired me... I was going to ride like a violinist's bow in flight of the bumble bee, baby (did I mention I'm not a musician?)

Um, at least as much as I can considering I'm lifting weights after this.
