Hi.

Welcome to my streak.  One hundred days of straight Peloton.

Day Thirty-eight: Robin's 45min Tabata 9.12.17

Day Thirty-eight: Robin's 45min Tabata 9.12.17

Tabata.  The aerobic code word for hell.  Basically it is super high intensity intervals where you give an all out effort and then recover for half the time of the effort.  The first few are fine.  The last set makes you feel like you are being water-boarded by your own breath.

These particular tabata intervals alternated back and forth between hill/high resistance intervals and speed intervals.  In between, along the way, Robin yelled out her favs:

Keep your chin up so the crown doesn't slip.

You are one of one.

Do something that makes you proud.

These reminded me that as a teacher, I need to remind my students to do something that makes them proud more often.

I'll do that after I recover.
