Well, I'm traveling which means for the first time since I started this streak, I am taking Peloton on the road.  I installed the app in my phone and booked some hotels with some gyms.  

I stayed at a Four Points Sheraton and discovered that by cardio equipment, they meant a treadmill and a recumbent bike.  There were a lot of great weights though and enough stability balls for a ball pit for giants.  

My rule about traveling during the streak is that I have to do something.  My absolute best that I can.  Best case scenario, I turn up in some gym that HAS a peloton--I know that some of the Westins have them, but none of those were in places I'm traveling too.  Second best case scenario, the gym has a spin bike or at least some sort of bike and I take the class through the app--no metrics, but I can still manipulate my speed and resistance.  Third case, the gym or wherever I am has nothing.  In that case, I've decided, as a last ditch effort, I can do on demand body weight strength workouts or yoga and still count it as part of the streak.  Even if I have to do it in an airport or something.  I'm committed to the TO SOMETHING approach.

Today, with the recumbent bike, I wasn't super pumped.  But, I loaded up a 20 min climb and thought well... I won't stand, but I'll try to load up the resistance when we're climbing.  According to my heart rate monitor, I mainly stayed in zone three, and usually I'm in zone four for most of a climb ride, but hey it is SOMETHING right?  I stretched, did some weights and called it a day.  More than that, I'll call it a success... the streak continues.  

By the way, Jess King is growing on me some.  Something about the max efforts toward the end of this climb... or maybe anyone you meet when you are at the edge of how much you can push/pull you will like.
