Day Thirty-two: Christine's 30 min Low Impact Ride 8.2.17
Dejavu Ride! I kept thinking this entire ride that I had taken this ride before! But maybe I'm just super accustomed to what a Christine recovery ride might sound like. The cues to hold back, the focus on letting your belly go and breathing? The Peloton central computer says I haven't taken this ride so I suppose it is all in my head.
My legs were super-fatigued from the moment I got on the bike. Christine was cueing 100 cadence, but I was finding 80 to be an effort. So, I just waited until I got my groove, enjoyed the music and Christine's persona. Last night I foam-rolled my legs and also noticed I was pretty tight so today definitely needed to be a recovery ride. Every ride is a win and towards the end of the ride I started to feel strong again... saving that up for tomorrow.
